Lazy Harry is a True Blue Aussie Bush poet. A born entertainer, his blend of music and typical Aussie humour with its attacks on pretension is as Australian as meat pies and Holden cars.

Spirit of Our Country is also a tribute to all the volunteers who came to Beechworth during the Australia Day 2003 bushfires and helped to save the town, its people and their lives. Having been flooded twice and with a bushfire threatening, Lazy felt inspired to write this tribute to the people who gave their time and experience to fight the devastating bushfires.
