A celebration of De Bortoli's Italian roots, planted in Australian Riverina soil. Enjoyed internationally, these wines reflect the styles of wine that have been appreciated by the De Bortoli family for four generations. The vineyards chosen exhibited rich fruit flavours with generous colour and were harvested when flavour was at its optimum.

Fresh early January rains prepared vines for what was to be a mild & then dry Riverina vintage. The milder temperatures allowed for wonderful expression of fruit aromas and flavours and allowed the retention of natural acid in most varieties.

Bright crimson with ruby hues. Generous layers of ripe red fruits combining with notes of mint and spice. The wine has a nice silky texture mouthfeel complimenting red berry characters with a touch of peppery spice from underlying oak and integrated tannins.

Great with herbed lamb shanks or char grilled antipasto.
