A 10.2 cm wide brim designed for extra protection from the sun and rain to keep your face and neck totally in the shade. A great hat for work or anyone wanting extra sun and rain protection. The brim is tilted down in front and rear and has a cut edge.
 
The pre-creased crown (10,5 cm high) has three large eyelets on each side for ventilation and a reeded roan leather sweatband to help wick away sweat.
 
Imperial Quality pure rabbit fur felt and weatherproof as a result of the denseness of the felt. The kangaroo leather plaid hat band is quality ridge back leather with decorative embossing and Akubra bronze badge, and includes a tail.
 
This style from Akubra came about as a response to requests for a more traditional wide brim working hat.
